National Health Reform
In August 2011, COAG agreed to the National Health Reform Agreement [PDF 1.10MB], which sets out the shared intention of the Commonwealth, State and Territory governments to work in partnership to improve health outcomes for all Australians and ensure the sustainability of the Australian health system.
From 1 July 2012, the National Healthcare SPP was replaced by National Health Reform funding.
From 1 July 2017, Schedule I - Addendum to the National Health Reform Agreement [PDF 1.81MB | DOCX 88KB], implements the arrangements outlined in the Heads of Agreement as agreed by COAG in April 2016.
