National Coronial Information System
This Schedule will support the ongoing management of the National Coronial
Information System (NCIS). This includes:
- operating effective data collection, quality and validity systems to maintain
reliability, consistency and integrity of the NCIS including continuous - improvement activities and regular engagement with data partners.
ensuring database security and integrity to prevent unauthorised access to
NCIS data. - facilitating a direct system access service to support coronial investigations
and third party researchers undertaking death and injury research and
monitoring work. - providing a data report service to support coronial investigations and
external organisations undertaking death and injury prevention research
work. - providing support and training to NCIS users to facilitate their access to
NCIS data and maximise data use.
