Horticultural Netting Trial Scheme

This Schedule will support the delivery of funds to primary producers of commercial horticulture crops to purchase and install horticultural netting to increase crop productivity.

This Agreement will support the delivery of funds to primary producers of horticultural crops to purchase and install protective netting to reduce the impact of adverse weather conditions and animal predation, and to reduce the water usage on those same farms.

This agreement was amended in January 2025 to allow South Australia to use residual Commonwealth funding to support wine industry recovery by implementing new programs to support waste management, build local demand, establish capability initiatives and realise future opportunities.
