This Schedule will support the delivery of energy bill assistance (bill relief) to all eligible households and small businesses across Australia, from the Commonwealth's Energy Bill Relief Fund over the period 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025.
This Schedule will support the delivery of the targeted energy bill assistance (the bill relief) in the states from the Energy Bill Relief Fund. The bill relief will be jointly funded between the Commonwealth and the states.
The bill relief will be targeted to households receiving income support, pensioners and Commonwealth Seniors Health Card holders, Family Tax Benefit A and B recipients, households eligible for states' existing energy concessions, and to small business customers of electricity retailers.
