This Schedule will support the delivery of 31 on-ground projects to improve infrastructure as heritage sites in all Australian states, and this Northern Territory. This initiative aims to support regional communities severely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic through job creation and to ensure these heritage sites can benefit from, and deal with, a projected surge in tourism when travel restrictions ease.
