Environment Restoration Fund - Improving the Health of the Georges River (Yeramba Lagoon)

The outputs of this agreement will be:

1. the completion of a replacement gate structure to enable saltwater incursion into Yeramba Lagoon to restore habitat for saltmarsh and mangrove vegetation communities;
2. the undertaking of weed and vegetation restoration work in the riparian environment and area immediately surrounding the Yeramba Lagoon; and
3. the undertaking of a mangrove reestablishment program for mangroves to develop in reclaimed estuarine environments.
