This project will establish a comprehensive cancer centre at Rockhampton, building on previous HHF funding provided for expansion of Rockhampton Hospital, and enhance cancer care infrastructure at Bundaberg and Hervey Bay to provide additional chemotherapy treatment for people with cancer and their families who live in regional and rural Central Queensland, in line with the HHF RCC initiative funding application dated 7 January 2010 and additional advice provided on 14 January and 26 February 2010.
