Health Services - Agreement for the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program

The Commonwealth has developed the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program. The National Bowel Cancer Screening Program offers free faecal occult blood tests to Australians turning 50, 55 or 65 years of age between January 2008 and December 2010. The objectives and outcomes of the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program are to reduce the morbidity and mortality associated with bowel cancer.
