The objective of the National Antimicrobial Utilisation Surveillance Program (NAUSP) is the timely collection, analysis and reporting of inpatient antimicrobial usage data and trends at a national and individual hospital level, to provide information to support the development of strategies to minimise antimicrobial resistance.
