National Partnership Agreement on Low Socio-Economic Status School Communities

This National Partnership Agreement (‘the Agreement’) supports a suite of school and broader reforms designed to transform the way schooling takes place in participating schools and address the complex and interconnected challenges facing students in disadvantaged communities. This Agreement aims to improve student engagement, educational attainment and wellbeing in participating schools, make inroads into entrenched disadvantage (including in Indigenous communities), contribute to broader social and economic objectives and improve understanding about effective intervention that can be implemented beyond the schools participating in this Agreement. Successful implementation of this Agreement will be critical to the achievement of the aspirations, objectives and outcomes set out in the National Education Agreement.
