South Australia Comprehensive Cancer Network

This Schedule will support the establishment of the South Australia Comprehensive Cancer Network (SACCaN), a centralised network of expertise from across South Australia, with linkages to other jurisdictions that will: 

  • improve cancer care and treatment equity for people with poor health outcomes;
  • maximise cancer prevention and early detection;
  • improve cancer care and treatment options for consumers;
  • deliver health systems for optimal cancer care based on the available evidence;
  • support South Australia's workforce to transform delivery of cancer care; and
  • build strong and dynamic foundations for South Australia's cancer sector.
