The Better and Fairer Schools Agreement 2025–2034
The Better and Fairer Schools Agreement 2025–2034 (BFSA) and the Better and Fairer Schools Agreement – Full and Fair Funding 2025–2034 (Full and Fair Funding Agreement) started in January 2025. They replace the National School Reform Agreement, which ended on 31 December 2024, and the Interim School Funding Agreement 2025.
Both agreements will run for 10 years, ending on 31 December 2034.
The Australian Government and state and territory governments jointly agreed the BFSA and Full and Fair Funding Agreement. They aim to support a better and fairer education system for all students.
