The goal of Caring for our Country announced by the Commonwealth is ‘an environment that is healthy, better protected, well managed, and resilient and provides essential ecosystem services in a changing climate’.
The Commonwealth announced that it would allocate $2.25 billion in funding for the first five years of Caring for our Country, over $700 million of which will be allocated to the regional delivery of Caring for our Country throughout Australia.
